Ordered custom from Day 1 - Still love it <3
By WilkinDad | on Thursday, July 31, 2025
I was astonished to see that others had such negative experiences with their EQB. Our experience has been amazing! We too had a coolant issue a few months into it, but our dealer had us fixed in a day or so, with a pretty nice gas-guzzle loaner, and no issues since. We haven't had ANY other issues with our 2023 EQB. All the electrical, the int and ext lights, all of it- It's been good ol' trusty. Of the available EV's, it's not the greatest with battery life/miles per charge. She's our day to day ride though, great grocery/shopping vehicle with ample cargo space, sports events with ball bags and foldable chairs/benches, beach/park day coolers and bags, we have roof mount kayak racks. It's a dang commercial, we use the heck out of it and absolutely love it! We have a different ride for distance travel, but our EQB can handle those just fine with a well planned route for charging. We keep her clean, washed, and shined - it's our (20+yr marriage) most favorite vehicle purchase.… - 1.0
A car to avoid
By Bassem | on Tuesday, July 02, 2024
I leased a 2023 EQB 350 in May 2023, I had to take back shortly for coolant liquid alert, 2 months later it spent more than 2 weeks in the dealership for coolant liquid alert, they fixed it, and then I had to take it for more issues, heads up display did not work, camera system not operable, coolant fluid again just last week, I left it in the dealership for 2 days, today I had a more serious alert, I got a battery alert, the vehicle will not restart, towing is not permitted, the gear stopped working, I turned it off and on, then took it back to the dealership, all of these visit for a 1 year old vehicle.… - 1.0
A Vehicle To Avoid
By nsoltz | on Friday, May 03, 2024
Avoid the Mercedes EQB300. Leased in July, 2023 and a constant source of problems. Sensors disabled 3 times and each time the dealer said they repaired. Went into "limp mode" once dropping from 50mph to 20mph. Dealer replaced rear motor. Always a little electronic or app glitch here and there. The vehicle handles and drives adeptly and interior fit and finish is what you would expect from Mercedes. No complaints there. But the dependability, electronics and the ability of Mercedes to diagnose issues and provide guidelines to dealers on actually how to fix them is absent. I currently have a lemon law claim pending and hope that I will be able to return this highly questionable vehicle which does not make me feel safe.…
