Luxury Is in the Name

With the Cadillac emblem right on the wingtip grille, the CT4 lets you know from the start that it's a classy ride. The boomer headlamps and brake lights are also among the most distinctive in the industry. With options for 17-, 18- or 19-inch alloy tires, the CT-4 cuts a stylish profile, too. Low-gloss black wheels are available for drivers who want a more mysterious look.

Plush seating and contrasting interior upholstery give the interior a similar sense of luxury. Buyers can choose between leatherette and leather upholstery, too. An angular dashboard with colored trim accents hints at a more-performance-oriented car, though. The CT4 is a passenger-focused luxury car. It will seat up to five people and has 10.7 cubic feet of trunk space.

Potent Performance

Every CT4 comes standard with rear-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is an option for drivers in Cincinnati who want optimal traction. With four engine options that range from the impressive to the astounding, the CT4 is one of the more exciting performers in the compact sedan class. The base 2.0-liter turbo I4 engine produces 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Further up the trim lineup, you can get a 2.7-liter turbo I4 engine that generates 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. A high-output version of the 2.7-liter engine generates 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the range-topping V-Series Blackwing gets a roaring 3.6-liter turbo V6 that produces a jaw-dropping 472 horses and 445 pound-feet of torque. The base engine pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the more powerful engines get a 10-speed automatic.

Technology

With a digital instrument cluster and a full-color heads-up display, the CT4 maximizes driver information and awareness. There is also an infotainment screen with a touchscreen and a built-in Amazon Alexa voice assistant. Your base option includes an eight-speaker premium audio system, but you can upgrade to a 14-speaker Bose for truly exceptional sound quality. The CT4 supports wireless phone connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Keyless entry and a push-button start are standard on all trims, too.

Safety

Cadillac includes a host of driver assistance systems in the CT4. It provides forward pedestrian detection, lane-departure alerts, and automatic emergency braking. Standard automatic high beams turn on when they are needed in Milford and dim when the system detects other vehicles ahead. You also can order the CT4 with an adaptive cruise control that has a semi-autonomous driving option.

Trims

The CT4 Luxury is the entry-level option for Mason drivers. It includes all of the standard features, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and a dual-zone climate system. Moving up to the CT4 Premium Luxury, it adds leather upholstery, front and rear parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control. There is also the CT4 Sport that features 18-inch black wheels, sport-style seats, a rear spoiler, and a sport steering wheel.

The CT4-V is where things get more exciting. It includes the more powerful 2.7-liter engine and a limited-slip differential. Brembo front brakes provide stopping power, too. The CT4-V includes a performance suspension, magnetic ride control, and a launch system. Topping the lineup is the CT4-V Blackwing with the 3.6-liter engine. It has a large digital instrument cluster, performance brake linings, and heated front seats.
